Concernin’ Pepper

Griffin Pepper is a writer, eater, breather, and laugher currently living in Washington, DC. He’s also a communications associate at a DC-based communications and PR firm. Currently, he is focusing his blogging skills on this site and his joint food blog with Madeline Taskier.

He was a Teach for America Corps Member in the Mississippi Delta, where he taught high school Spanish and Social Studies. He graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Political Science, minoring in Communications and Media Studies (CMS).

He was a member of sQ! co-ed a cappella at Tufts. He spent his 2009 spring semester abroad in Alcalá de Henares, outside of Madrid, Spain, where he studied the culture (sometimes) and traveled extensively. After Spain, Griffin interned at KCBS and KCAL news stations in Los Angeles, where he fell in love with broadcast journalism and writing. Post-TFA, Griffin plans on pursuing a career in the media, preferably in radio journalism.

This blog has served many purposes: to expose the world to life behind the scenes at a smoothie bar in the San Fernando Valley, to chronicle the progress of his CMS project in which he studied how a Boston public radio station (WBUR 90.9) has successfully created an interactive website, and, most of all, to inform family, friends, and sometimes himself on what’s going on in his head.

Griffin hopes you readers enjoy the stories, the rants, and everything else that happens when you’re Consultin’ Pepper.
